We need your help!

Tthe Festival's budget is raised through private donations from people like you. There is no question that without these donations, the Festival would not happen. Whether you are able to contribute a lot, or a little, every dollar helps.

Please make your check payable to:

Greater Chicago Jewish Festival

mail to:
P.O. Box 5215, Skokie, IL 60076.

More than 100 major Jewish organizations representing many facets of the Chicago area Jewish community co-sponsor the Festival. These organizations do not financially support the Festival, but rather help to publicize the event through mailings and announcements.

Space prohibits naming the many FRIENDS whose gifts under $100 we gratefully acknowledge.

A significant portion of the Festival's $60,000 budget is raised through private donations from people like you.

The Festival is also financed through grants, corporate gifts and sales of ad space in the Festival Program Book. Grants from the Illinois Arts Council and the Mayor's Office of Special Events of the City of Chicago have provided modest assistance. Corporate gifts underwrite specific components of the Festival, such as the stages, the food fair, the art fair and the hands-on activity area. In the past corporate gifts have been contributed by: American Airlines, Coca Cola Bottling Co., Anixter Bros. Inc., Devon Bank, Walgreen Drug Stores, Borg-Warner Corporation, Jewel Food Stores, Seagrams, Hallmark Card Company, WCIU Channel 26, Chicago Sun Times Company, Chicago Jewish News and The Chicago Jewish Federation (JUF).

We express our deep appeciation to the Crain-Maling Foundaion for its continued financail support.  We also acknowledge the Joseph & Helene Lachman Foudation and the Polk Bros Foundation.

100% of these contributions go directly toward producing the Festival. No group benefits financially and no individual receives a salary from these contributions.
